The weekend after I picked up my new camera came a day for testing. Mel and I picked up some fireworks to entertain Hunter and ourselves. Well, he ended up not really paying attention to them like we had hoped, but we still had a blast. This is also the first time I’ve had the opportunity to snap some nightshots.

Luckily, Jon lives just a few blocks from me. The sun took advantage of my walking situation and hammered me down with it’s rays. Maybe I would of minded more if I didn’t have my camera.

While I was approaching the house, Mel was stepping out with Hunter and her sister heading somewhere. I waved bye and retreated indoors.

John’s 4th of July thang

John is back in town and for good this time, from what I understand. Well, at least until he tells himself “I’m sick of this place, THERE’S NOTHING TO DO” just like everyone else does. But until then, why not enjoy the last few years we have with eachother until all of you other buddies create families of your own and spend more time with them than us.

Hopefully not too soon, though. So let us enjoy the time we have with eachother and get really trashed while we have the time.

And yet again. The same scammers I’ve made several other posts on to WARN other readers have changed their name to “Top Publication Services”. Please feel free to read the previous posts dedicated to them. It’s the same old “Draper, Utah”; ‘win a ton of really neat stuff if you give us your credit card info charade. They used to go by “Summit Reader Services”, then “Best Publication Services”, and now this. All based in Canada.

Here’s the deal, give them the information they want, watch as a couple hundred dollars be withdrawn from your account shortly after, and NEVER receive any of the magazines promised to you. Must I stress this situation enough, DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM! Read every victims experience with these people through the previous posts here and here and please feel free to help others by leaving a comment and sharing with others your experience.

Gaah, I wish I didn’t wait soo long to post these. Maybe then, I’d be able to remember more detail. I believe Danielle, Chris and I arrived to meet Josh, Abel and uhhh…hmm, a few other people? Can’t fully remember. Oh well. After hanging around and enjoying the scenery from the room for awhile, we headed over to the pools and jacuzzi.

One of them didn’t want to start warming up and bubble up, so Danielle yelled over to some older people hanging out in the other one “How do we get this thing going?”, “Push the button”. Realizing we’ve tried that, it was apparent it wasn’t going to work. But while we were out in the back, we saw what looked to be like a bar in the hotel with glass windows facing over us. We headed on over there and sure enough, it was.

A bunch of older people were getting down and dirty on the floor, it was pretty awesome to watch. We had plenty of drinks in the room, so rather than paying for some, a couple of us would run back to the room to sneak some back. I thought it was pretty obvious what we were up to, but no one else seemed to notice so all was well.

After staying the night, we ate at Denny’s the next morning. Shortly after bumping into a ridiculously stupid custom plate, we took back off on home.
